He started his online career in 2005 selling SEO to SMBs in the US and then moved to selling and managing PPC after co-founding a Search Start-up agency.
Shortly after in 2012, Joined Yahoo and re-located to Dublin where he worked as a Direct Response Analyst for Right Media Exchange which was owned by Yahoo focusing on Programmatic buying and selling.
In 2015, Omar joined Marin Software as the first Programmatic Display focused Employee in EMEA launching the retargeting arm of Marin ‘Perfect Audience’ where he held the position of Display Manager leading the Programmatic Display operations in EMEA.
Head hunted by LinkedIn to help develop the new Sponsored Content product as a Content Marketing Strategist Omar’s primary focus was monetising the new Ad unit programmatically.
Omar Then joined Eighty Twenty after its acquisition by WPP as Head of Ad-tech and Programmatic to develop the agency Programmatic offering, negotiating deals with DSPs to deliver a fully transparent and effective Programmatic offering.
Omar worked on and managed clients line Emirates Air lines, Net A Porter, Google, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Zara and many more blue chip Advertisers.
